(It's hard to believe now but in those days computers were considered a hobby for enthusiasts). Years ago, I remember hearing the story that Woz envisioned the Apple ][ with expansion slots (revolutionary for the time) so that computer 'hobbyists' could tinker with their machine.

My father bought the family an Apple ][ computers and I still have a very soft spot in my heart for them.
